Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live and which features you use, you may request access, correction, export, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or information about collection and disclosure. You can also manage memory, tracking choices, marketing, and any optional content-contribution or model-training program.
Iris will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Memory controls
Cross-conversation memory and automatic extraction are enabled by default for eligible accounts. Use Iris Memory to view the generated profile, turn memory off, or clear it.
Turning memory off pauses its use and future updates but does not erase stored items. Clearing memory stops Iris from using saved memory for personalization but does not delete the original conversations. Use a privacy request or authenticated account deletion to request erasure, subject to the Privacy Policy’s retention exceptions.
Submit a privacy request
This form prepares an email. Iris may need to verify your identity and may ask for additional information that is reasonably necessary to locate the account.
Consumer health data
Where applicable law provides the right, you may ask whether Iris collects or shares consumer health data, access it, obtain a relevant recipient list, withdraw consent, delete it, or appeal a denial. Service and browser notifications
Iris may send account, service, safety, or optional engagement notifications where the feature and your browser settings allow it. Notification text may appear on a locked or shared screen depending on device settings. Use Iris notification controls when available and the browser or operating-system settings to disable them.
Marketing messages
Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or request an opt-out. Transactional or security messages may still be sent when necessary to operate an account.
AI processing and model training
Iris uses OpenAI models and DeepSeek models through AI service providers. Iris does not use private conversations to train its own general-purpose AI model. Iris does not use OpenAI Zero Data Retention, so OpenAI’s standard API data controls, including possible abuse-monitoring retention, apply. DeepSeek may process and retain inputs, outputs, and related data under its applicable terms, Iris’s service settings, and legal obligations. See the Privacy Policy.
Appeals and authorized agents
Where applicable, you may appeal a denied request by replying to Iris’s decision with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. You may also authorize another person to act for you. Iris may verify your identity and the agent’s authority before releasing, changing, or deleting information.
