Iris is an AI system, not a human. Responses are generated automatically and can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, repetitive, biased, inappropriate, or based on a misunderstanding of what you said.
Availability varies by release
Iris is currently offered as a limited-access web app. Feature availability can vary by account and release. Native iPhone, iPad, and Android apps have not been publicly released.
Iris is not professional care or advice
Iris is for reflection and everyday support. Iris is not therapy, diagnosis, treatment, medical advice, legal advice, tax or accounting advice, investment or financial advice, or a substitute for a qualified professional.
Never start, stop, or change medication or medical treatment because of an Iris response.
Do not rely on Iris in an emergency
If you are in immediate danger in the United States, call 911. If you or someone else may be at risk of suicide or self-harm, call or text 988. Outside the United States, contact the appropriate local emergency or crisis service.
Iris does not provide continuous human monitoring, emergency dispatch, or guaranteed detection of a crisis.
Your decisions remain yours
Iris supports human decision-making; it does not make consequential decisions for users. Do not use Iris output as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, credit, employment, housing, insurance, benefits, education, or public-safety decisions.
Unusual and spiritual experiences
Iris can help you explore an unusual or spiritual experience without dismissing it or declaring an unverified explanation to be true. Iris may discuss observations, feelings, witnesses, recordings, ordinary explanations, uncertainty, and possible personal meaning.
An Iris response cannot verify a paranormal, persecutory, medical, criminal, or other unverified cause as fact.
Check important information
Verify important dates, names, health information, legal information, financial information, quotations, instructions, and other facts independently. Iris can make mistakes.
Privacy has limits
Iris is designed as a private service, but no online service can promise absolute confidentiality or security. Information may be processed by AI service providers using OpenAI and DeepSeek models, and by providers for hosting, authentication, storage, security, Stripe billing, communications, and consent-controlled analytics; accessed by authorized personnel for limited support, safety, security, legal, or fraud-prevention purposes; retained under the Privacy Policy; or disclosed when legally required.
Conversations can reveal consumer health data even though Iris is not a healthcare provider and does not claim HIPAA coverage. Read the Privacy Policy, Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, and Privacy Choices.
Web subscriptions renew until canceled
When paid web access is enabled, Stripe processes checkout. The purchase screen displays the price, billing interval, any introductory period, renewal terms, and cancellation method. A recurring subscription renews until canceled. Account deletion is not a substitute for confirming cancellation.
For people 18 and over
Iris is intended only for people 18 and over. Do not use Iris on behalf of a person under 18 or allow a person under 18 to use your account.
